University Sports Courts

The maps illustrate the transformation of a university sports courts area between 1990 and the present day, highlighting developments in sports infrastructure and facilities.

Overall, the area has been significantly modernized, with a greater number of courts and the addition of a fitness centre, while green space and parking have been removed to make way for more structured sporting facilities.

In 1990, the left side of the sports area featured a park with trees and grass and a car park. In the current layout, the park has been replaced by a basketball court, and the car park has been substituted with four outdoor tennis courts, increasing recreational capacity.

On the right side, while the indoor pool and reception area remain in their original positions, major changes have occurred. A larger building has been constructed to house additional facilities. The changing room has been extended and repositioned slightly to the right, now situated directly above a new fitness centre. This new gym area has taken the place of two original tennis courts, which are now located outside the main building.
